Samsung is taking the task of 4G/5G antenna configuration off the tower and into a smartphone with a new drone-based measurement tool that leans on AI to collect visual data and deliver it to engineers on the ground for faster analysis. Skydio2 Drone Makes a Comeback

The Skydio2 Drone by drone company, Skydio, is making a comeback. The Skydio 2 drone is once again available for sale and it comes alongside a new software update that brings many changes to the platform, the most notable being the arrival of Extended Tracking Distance, one of its most requested features. – Read more of the story here.

Drone Tech Seen to Help Farmers Optimize their Yields

More than 100 farmers and agricultural retailers from Iowa, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma and California came last week to Washington County to learn more about soil health. Japan Study Shows Soap Bubbles Can Pollinate Crops with a Drone

Across the other side of the world, a drone has shown its capability of being a great agricultural tool.

Eijiro Miyako, an associate professor at the Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology has successfully used soapy bubbles to pollinate a pear orchard by delivering pollen grains to targeted flowers in the most delicate way, utilizing a drone. The whimsical technique would be much cheaper and more effective than other types of manual pollination, when used in concert with robotic or drone delivery methods. – Read more of the story here.
