Mavic Air 2: A New Drone in the Time of Pandemic

Just when you thought DJI is losing steam, word has it that it is soon to announce its first offering for 2020 coming in the time of pandemic and following last year’s Mavic Mini.

What can you expect from this latest offering from DJI? For one thing, it is a heavyweight at 570 g, and will surely “Up your Game,” DJI says, as it is the next big thing in aerial content creation.

According to a leaked spec sheet, the Mavic Air 2 will feature a 1/2-inch camera sensor capable of shooting in up to 4K at 60 FPS and 48 MP. The Mavic Air 2 will support up to 240 minutes of battery life and 34 minutes of flight time between charges, too. It will also be capable of flying 10 km from your location without losing signal and will transmit to the remote control at 2.4 GHz or 5.8 GHz. – Read more here

It has been a while since DJI has come up with a new drone. Late last year, it released the Mavic Mini, targeting beginner drone hobbyists and drone photographers.
